Question by Taeken_Yun: Should I give him a second chance or is he using me?
Last year, I went out with this guy for about a month. I thought things were going pretty well between us. Because he always picked me up, paid for everything and always called or emailed after we went out, I thought we were dating. Also he kept talking about this gala that he wanted me to be his date to.

Than, suddenly he’s busy all the time. Then he sends me an email talking about how the dating scene in our town sucks and did I know any good churches were he could meet single, Christian women.

I was pretty annoyed and didn’t respond. Two weeks go by and he text messages me at midnight and goes, “I’m officially a Redskins fan!!!”

I take him off my Myspace friends list and a year goes by and I hear nothing from him.

Than, two days ago, he texts me out of nowhere asking how I am and how’s my family. Than he called and left a voicemail asking if I wanted to get together because he misses our conversations.

Question by Mulereiner: Singles Group activities for a get together?
I’m asking this in R/S because its a Christian Singles Ministry that I am leading.

I have a potluck/game/movie night planned and have lots of possibilities for games etc, with it being held in a gym *old school building*

We will have card tables set up, volleyball, fussball, ping pong..

What are some good activities to get ppl to engage in conversations with others? I have a feeling this will be a larger group then our normal 15-20ppl attendees.. so just trying to get everyone to meet everyone if you know what I mean.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Also what movie would you recommend that is your favorite and decent?

Everytime I meet a woman that say’s she is a Christian, after a few conversations it turns out that she’s never been babtized, doesn’t go to worship srevice, uses profanity, and know nothing about the Word of God. What do they think a Christian is?

they are far and in between these days. there are 2 types.you have the christians and then you have the church goers. your probably getting the church goers.
